What Is the 2019 UK Secondary School Calendar Looking Like?
As a parent of an enrolled student or a student looking to join high school in the UK, it’s important to understand the secondary school 2019 calendar. This will help you prepare for the term and so will your child. For example, you should know that the 2018 autumn term is underway. A majority of high school boarding schools in London reported on 3rd September. They are expected to stay in school until 19th December, when they will close for the December holidays. Most exams will be done in December. For example, Cambridge Centre of Sixth-Form Studies (CCSS), a private secondary school, will see their students sit for their summer exams between 10th December and 13th December.
The 2019 Spring Term Calendar
The Spring Term will start on 7th January but boarders are expected to report at least a day before. The half-term break will run from 16th to 24th February. The assessment week is scheduled for 25th February to 2nd March 2019. The team will end on 12th April 2019. If you are want to know the welfare of your child at school and other on-goings in the school, you should do it on 12th April 2019 as it will be Parents Day.
2019 Summer Term Calendar
The summer term will begin on 29th April 2019 but borders are expected to return or report a day earlier. Half term will be between 25th May and 2nd June 2019. The teaching day will 24th May and CCSS Summer Ball will be played on the same day (evening). Borders are expected to vacate their rooms by 25th May.
With the calendar, you and your kid can plan for the period between now and next year’s Summer Term. Financially, you will be able to organize yourself.
